Easily accessible, Wailua Falls can be seen from the road, so no hiking necessary. To get there, head north from Lihue and follow Maalo Road in Hanamaulu and travel uphill for about three miles. If you get lucky you may see one of it’s famous rainbows appear. A beautiful waterfall, worth the stop!
Nicknamed the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon is a large canyon, about ten miles long and up to 3,600 feet deep. The view are truly breathtaking and I would highly recommend renting a car and making the drive up to see for yourself, you won’t regret it!
